I have a feeling we’ve also got a few folks attempting to make their first full holiday meals, or even a few making first dishes altogether. While this speaks to the inability for families to gather this also presents a new and perhaps exciting challenge for first time Holiday Chefs! This is an opportunity to try out some great new recipes, both classics and modern adaptations that will help you stretch your chef flex.
The perfect Thanksgiving dinner certainly revolves around a great Turkey, but don’t forget about the importance of great side dishes. The mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberries are just as important, and my ideal Turkey pairings. Of course, you can’t forget a good gravy. I tend to cover about 85% of my plate in gravy.
